Are you a person that others want to know more about?
In today's society, appearances, sex appeal, and being young are all highly valued qualities that are highly prized. Many people devote a disproportionate amount of effort to the preparation of their exterior packaging and boxes.
To the contrary, they go to tremendous efforts in order to appear stylish and trendy, as well to ensure that they are seen in the most up-to-date "in" areas.
Unfortunately, when little or no effort is put into developing one's intelligence or developing a distinctive personality, many attractive young men and women come off as flighty and ignorant, as well as self-absorbed and self-centered.
Evidence of this harmful tendency may be seen in the conduct of some of today's young celebrities and pop stars, who frequently act as role models for our children (whether we like it or not), illustrating the dangers of this unhealthy trend.
On a daily basis, we are inundated with reports of their shenanigans, in which they indulge in self-indulgent and sometimes reckless conduct. Some of them wind up in a rehabilitation facility, which is not always effective in addressing the underlying issue.
However, although physical attraction is very beneficial to the survival of our species, evolution has gone a long way in providing us with more than just our physical appearances to attract one another.
To establish a strong, meaningful connection between two people, they must have something to offer each other that goes beyond their first physical attraction.
It is almost impossible for a relationship to flourish when two individuals have nothing in common other than their beautiful looks. Instead, they must be able to appreciate one other as people and be able to form a connection or friendship with one another. There must be substance, common interests, a desire to develop, and mutual respect between the two people in the relationship.
So, what's the solution to this conundrum?
